Andrew Palumbo, Real Estate Broker
Moving to Durham, North Carolina in 2007 was a big decision to make with my family. It has been a great experience living in the Raleigh-Durham area for the last 10 years. We have really enjoyed living in the Triangle area since the day we arrived. My kids are involved with sports and I spend my free time managing my kids soccer teams and volunteering on the Githens Middle School Athletic Booster Club when I can. The family-centered lifestyle of the Triangle and work opportunities were some of the key reasons we moved down from Vermont. We also moved for the much warmer winters.
After growing up around the family business of real estate and construction, I became a licensed appraiser in 1993. My role expanded to assisting in general contracting services and in the late 1990s we sold the appraisal business and made real estate sales and residential construction the primary focus.
During my time in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area I managed a landscaping business and became quite familiar with many of the Triangle neighborhoods. This role reignited my passion for real estate. Working at My NC Homes is fulfilling as I help customers purchase or sell their homes. I use my knowledge and expertise in appraisals, construction, and the mortgage and underwriting phases to guide buyers and sellers through the real estate process. Applying my years of experience to customer concerns or questions has resulted in a trust that My NC Homes will help them make their housing transitions.
