Festival for the Eno

Held at the stunning West Point on the Eno Park, this Festival for the Eno is a celebration of creativity and environmental stewardship showcasing local musicians, craft artisans, and food vendors. Attendees can explore the Eno riverbanks, enjoy live music performances, and shop for handmade crafts, all while supporting the conservation efforts of the Eno River Association. For lovers of art, music, and nature, the Festival for the Eno is an annual summer event not to be missed.

Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

This festival is a triple threat, the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival is a must-visit event for aficionados of these dangerous delights. This is a traveling festival and The Triangle has hosted it last year as well. It features the nations top selections of craft beers, bourbons and BBQ.

NCMA Summer Concerts

For a slightly less raucous summer event, The North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) offers a series of outdoor summer concerts. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the museum's lawn, concerts this season are a diverse lineup of artists spanning various genres, from classical and jazz to rock and folk. Plan a picnic dinner, and enjoy.

Summer Movies at Dorothea Dix Park

Another great idea for a picnic dinner night is to head to Dorothea Dix Park for their outdoor movie experience. The Summer Movies at Dorothea Dix Park showcase a selection of family-friendly films that run all summer long. Be sure to check the weather before preparing your picnic, they do cancel in the rain.

Tastings are unlimited and also to be enjoyed are live music performances and food truck bites.

From Growing Scientists to Things with Wings, to Growing what you Eat, this is a wonderful way to introduce small children to ecology and local plant life.

Flushfest on the Eno

This is a first. In the name of improving global sanitation is a new festival in The Triangle, Flushfest. You read that right. However, where the mind may wander into the name, it sounds like a wonderful event in West Hillsborough featuring live music, kids activities, films, and more likely than not, plenty of potty humor.

Raleigh International Food Festival
