What Is Chatham Park?
The Triangle's next big thing will undoubtedly be Chatham Park. The success of Research Triangle Park has inspired other developers and leaders of North Carolina to create a similar project in nearby Chatham County. Located about 20 and 25 miles southwest of Chapel Hill and Durham and 30 miles west of Raleigh, Chatham Park is a 7,500-acre planned live-work-play community. Cary Park is a very popular subdivision in Cary, North Carolina where there are a combination of condominiums, townhomes and single family homes. They are ranging in price from an average of $250,000 for a townhome to single family homes averaging in the low $500’s. Average sale price for a home in Cary Park for 2015 (12/01/2015) was $351,053. Days on market was a healthy 44 days on average with one home selling in as little as 1 day.
