Real estate agents have many communication styles. There are those who are high-touch and constantly call, email, or text to keep you updated on the market; some are more laid back waiting for you to reach out to them when you've found something of interest. With the My NC Homes team, you have as much or as little communication as you want when searching for, buying, or selling your home.

We understand that time is critical when buying and selling, especially in this market. Some of our favorite home buyers became clients when they found what looked like their forever home and wanted to see the house as soon as possible. Getting to know our buyers or sellers helps us understand what they want most. One of our more popular posts on How to Find a Great Place to Live is about what each person is looking for that makes their spot, "the best place" in the Triangle. You might be looking for a place with great accessibility to restaurants or perhaps your focus is on a specific school district or proximity to work. You might be selling and need to make it a quick transaction. Regardless, once we understand what you need and want; we will work diligently to meet your needs.

Working with all Communication Styles

As different as each client’s needs are, their preference for communication and interaction are just as different. Some clients are most comfortable meeting in person to talk over what they are looking for and want to follow up with a conversation rather than an email or text. They may want more back and forth, nailing down each detail together, and going through their options in depth. A home purchase or sale is one of the largest investments or transactions a buyer or seller typically makes and you have every right to expect us to understand the importance of attending to all the details.

We also have busy professional clients focused on specific neighborhoods or perhaps selling because they are moving to another state; their primary goal is for us to make it as easy as possible and to ensure a smooth transaction. Other buyers or sellers have families that are moving and need to be settled as quickly as possible, and they require communication that's more expedient and concise. Luckily, at My NC Homes we understand the many life stages and how to be flexible as our clients make life transitions from the first-time homebuyer to a senior downsizing out of their empty nest.

Sometimes our first client meeting is when we meet at a home they have seen online; that has sparked an interest. While this first home may not be the one they settle on, it's the ideal time for them to tell us precisely how they want us to communicate with them For some with jobs that leave them little time for phone calls or for whom much of their day is spent in meetings, we completely understand the ease of texting to arrange showings and schedule appointments.
