Few things really usher in Summer like an outdoor concert in The Triangle. We have gathered some of the top outdoor concert series for you to enjoy the best local venues, beverages, foods and of course music. It is unusual for new pop ups and breweries to not be involved where local music is, so this will cover both. One of the things that is really special about some of these series is that they run all summer long and are sponsored by really great organizations. Freight Train Blues Concert Series

The Freight Train Blues Concert series is a tribute to a Carrboro blues legend, Elizabeth Cotten, benefits of donations go to Music Maker Relief Foundation which supports elderly musicians. Great cause, great time, great town.

Koka Booth Amphitheatre is a great venue to watch any live music and this jazz series is fantastic. With inexpensive lawn tickets, access to great local food, and some of the best national acts, this is one of the best series in town.

Looking for a concert series out of the ordinary and maybe a bit old timey? Bynum General Store in Pittsboro offers story telling music series. This is a fun departure from food trucks and Pittsboro has incredible new home opportunities.
